Pedestrian Struck By Motor Vehicle With Landing Zone - Old Mill Road & Bridge Lane

On Saturday June 28 at 6:18 p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company and Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at Old Mill Road and Bridge Lane. The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to the scene of a pedestrian who was struck by a motor vehicle. Initial treatment was given to the victim at the scene, who was conscious and responsive. A landing zone was established at the Millville Volunteer Fire Company so the Delaware State Police Helicopter Trooper 2 could transport the victim to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland for additional evaluation and treatment. Chief Engineer Jack Melson turned the accident scene over to the Delaware State Police for investigation. “DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY”
