While enroute to Murray Motors in Dagsboro for a vehicle extrication drill, the MVFC units encountered a two vehicle crash with extrication on Vines Creek Rd. and Helms Landing Rd, just inside 73's first due. Led by 2nd Asst. Chief Huovinen and Truck Capt. Hammond, the driver of one vehicle was extricated by removing the drivers door and "B Post". The patient was loaded to DSP Trooper 2 for transport to a local hospital. Asst. Chief Furbush (73) was in charge of Dagsboro's units.
