The Millville Volunteer Fire Company has received an important message directly from Santa’s winter headquarters at the North Pole. Santa has confirmed his Millville Fire District “Santa on a Fire Truck” tour dates and times.

Tonight we began our transition to our new Pack System. Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (aka SCBA) is important and crucial for Firefighter safety as it allows us to breath in hazardous conditions. Dräger is our new SCBA equipment supplier.

On Tuesday evening December 3rd, 2024 at 1900 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company held its annual election of officers for the upcoming year, 2025.

On Tuesday afternoon November 26th, 2024 at 1612 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to the Fairway Village development in Ocean View of a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus.

On Saturday November 23rd, 2024 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company laid to rest Life Member, Past Fire Chief and Past President Roger W. Hitchens.

Shortly before 1am on Sunday morning, November 17th, 2024, Millville VFC along with mutual aid companies were dispatched to a garage fire with extension into a home on Yacht Basin Rd.

Just after 1pm on Sunday afternoon, November 17, 2024 the Millville VFC along with mutual aid companies were dispatched to the area of West Ave and Oakwood Ave for a garage fire with possible exposures.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank Rick, Karen and the staff from the Salted Rim Restaurant in Millville for hosting a Chicken and Dumplings Dine N Donate fund raiser on November 17th, 2024.

On Thursday afternoon November 14th, 2024 at 1613 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the unit block of John Hall Drive in Ocean View for a vehicle fire.

On Wednesday evening November 13th, 2024 approximately 20 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company attended one of several scheduled training sessions to complete our annual Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) certification.
