Scottish Rite donates Gift Cards to the MVFC

On Friday February 16th, 2024 Mr. Pat Sheardon, with the assistance of Mr. Eric Evans, members of the Scottish Rite, delivered Wawa gift cards to EMS Chief Jackie Wilson for our Firefighter/EMTs to have a meal on busy days.

On Tuesday February 13, 2024 Vice President and Sussex County Officer Diane Koch from First Shore Federal Bank in Millville presented Millville Volunteer Fire Company President Greg Hocker with a check for $500.00 to go toward our Community Hero’s Capital Campaign.

Millville VFC assist Frankford VFC with a House Fire

On Saturday February 10th, 2024 at 1532 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched on Box 76-73-84, along with the Dagsboro VFD to assist the Frankford VFC with a reported house fire in the 40 block of Thatcher Street in Frankford.

On Thursday February 8th, 2024 at 1211 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, along with the Dagsboro VFD were alerted to assist the Frankford VFC with a reported structure fire in the 30000 block of Omar Road just east of Frankford.

We have had several restaurants drop out due to staffing shortages and we need more participants to help us make this a successful event. The date of the event is Saturday January 27th, 2024 from 11am – 3pm.
