On Tuesday evening October 22nd, 2024 the monthly meeting of the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighters Association was held at the Millville Volunteer Fire Company.

On Monday October 21st, 2024 at 0758 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Roxana Road and Lodge Drive in front of the Tupelo Sands Apartments in Millville.

On Friday morning October 18th, 2024 at 0749 hours, Rescue Box 84-90 was dispatched bringing the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, Roxana VFC and the Sussex County Paramedics to Camp Barnes Road in the area of the Estuary Development for a motor vehicle collision with entrapment.

On Wednesday October 16th, 2024 at 1850 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a carbon monoxide detector activation in the 19000 block of Holts Lane in the Bishops Landing Development in Millville.

On Monday October 14th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company visited the Learning Center Preschool on Parker House Road south of Ocean View to conduct fire prevention activities.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company would like to take time to thank the dedicated educators and administrators of Lord Baltimore Elementary School, Rise & Shine Learning Center and the Learning Center Preschool for allowing our crews to present Fire Prevention messages to over 600 children in the Millville Fire District.

On Monday evening October 14th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company attended one of our annual Driver Operator Training Recertification Classes.

On Friday October 11th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, led by President Greg Hocker and Deputy Chief Paul Sterling, attended a graveside service for past Life Member Denis McMahon at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank Chris Conover and the crew from C&B Complete for providing lunch for our crews today during our fire prevention activities at Lord Baltimore Elementary School in Ocean View.

On Wednesday October 9th, 2024 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company presented our annual Fire Prevention program at Lord Baltimore Elementary School in Ocean View.

On Monday October 7th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company visited the Rise and Shine Learning Center on Beaver Dam Road south of Millville to conduct fire prevention activities.

On Sunday September 6th, 2024 at 0812 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the mutual aid box alarm assignment were dispatched to the 80 block of Fairway Drive in the Fairway Village development in Ocean View for a reported house fire with subjects possibly trapped.

The Millville Volunteer would like to remind the residents of the Millville Fire District and surrounding communities that this week is Fire Prevention Week™ from October 6-12, 2024.

On Saturday September 5th, 2024 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company hosted a training class presented by the Delaware Valley Tesla Owners Club.
