On July 11th, 2023 the Delaware Department of Transportation is planning to implement an All-Way Stop at the intersection of Peppers Corner Road & Powell Farm Road and Roxana Road.

On Wednesday June 7th, 2023 members of the Estuary Community, located off of Camp Barnes Road, held their annual Golf Tournament at the Ocean City Golf Club to benefit the Millville and Roxana Volunteer Fire Companies.

On Saturday June 24th, 2023 at 2241 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Roxana VFC with a reported structure fire in the 34000 block of Bennett Road north of Roxana.

Yard Sale Time Again! On June 17th, 2023 from 7am – 1pm the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary will hold a Yard Sale at Millville Fire Station #1, located at 35554 Atlantic Avenue in Millville, Delaware.

For the SECOND time in FOUR days, on Monday June 12, 2023 at 1409 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics and Delaware State Police aviation were alerted for a motor vehicle collision, vehicle reported overturned, at the intersection of Burbage Road and Powell Farm Road.

On Friday June 9, 2023, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Burbage Road and Powell Farm Road.

The EMS Ambulance Subscription Program for July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024 will mail on Friday, May 26, 2023. Subscriptions are mailed to the address listed on the Sussex County Property Tax Records.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company is looking for (1) Career Firefighter/EMT. MVFC is a great place to begin or continue your fire service and EMS career.

The Millville VFC will be testing our fire siren located on Central Avenue in Ocean View on Wednesday May 17th at 12 noon. The test is only expected to last for a short period of time and the citizenry should not be alarmed. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
