On Saturday July 29th, 2023 at 2223 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Delaware State Police and the Ocean View Police Department with a search for a lost child in the 30000 block of Maplewood Road in the Denton Woods development north of Millville.

On Friday July 28th, 2023 at 1539 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a medical emergency in the 22000 block of Grebe Lane in the Bay Forest Club development.

FREE CONCERT!! This is the first concert in the 2023 Summer Concert Series to benefit the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Capital Campaign.

On July 17th, 2023 at 1904 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with Bethany Beach VFC Quint 70-4 were dispatched to the 100 block of Chandler Way in the Fairway Village development in Ocean View for a reported gas leak.

On Sunday July 9, 2023 at 1414 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire at the intersection of West Avenue and Woodland Avenue in Ocean View.

In keeping with an Independence Day holiday tradition established several years ago, on Saturday July 1st, 2023 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company participated in the Bay Colony Independence Day Parade.

On Wednesday June 7th, 2023 members of the Estuary Community, located off of Camp Barnes Road, held their annual Golf Tournament at the Ocean City Golf Club to benefit the Millville and Roxana Volunteer Fire Companies.

Yard Sale Time Again! On June 17th, 2023 from 7am – 1pm the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary will hold a Yard Sale at Millville Fire Station #1, located at 35554 Atlantic Avenue in Millville, Delaware.

For the SECOND time in FOUR days, on Monday June 12, 2023 at 1409 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics and Delaware State Police aviation were alerted for a motor vehicle collision, vehicle reported overturned, at the intersection of Burbage Road and Powell Farm Road.
