On March 8, 2023 at 1011 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with mutual aid street assignment (Bethany Beach VFC) was alerted for an odor of gas inside the residence in the 100 block of Chandler Way in the Fairway Village development in Ocean View.

On March 7th, 2023 the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of Cornwall Road in the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club for a reported house fire.

On March 7th, 2023 at 1550 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to the intersection of Parker House Road and Maple Street for a reported motor vehicle collision involving a school bus.

On March 7, 2023 at the regular business meeting of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Past Chief Andrew Klink was presented with his 15 years of service plaque from President Greg Hocker.

On Saturday March 4th, 2023 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company in conjunction with our neighboring mutual aid companies held our 1st “Down & Dirty” Fire Academy at Millville Fire Station #1.

On March 2nd, 2023 at 0728 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the mutual aid box alarm assignment was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 30000 block of Maplewood Road in the Denton Woods development off of Railway Road in Millville.

On March 1st, 2023 at 1458 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics and Delaware Trooper 2 were dispatched to the intersection of Roxana Road & Peppers Corner Road for a motor vehicle collision with rollover.

On Sunday February 26th, 2023 at 1605 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Roxana VFC (mutual aid street alarm assignment) was dispatched to a chimney fire in the 36000 block of Wild Wood Avenue south of Ocean View.

On February 24th, 2023 at 1148 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported woods fire in the 36000 block of Double Bridges Road.

On Tuesday evening February 21, 2023 several members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company attended the “Business After Hours” event held at the Salted Rim Restaurant located at 35553 Atlantic Avenue in Millville.

On Saturday February 18th, 2023 at 1701 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to an automatic fire alarm in the unit block of Sunrise Lane in the Country Village development in Ocean View.

On Tuesday evening January 14th, 2023 at 1752 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the mutual aid street alarm assignment were dispatched to the 34000 block of Peppers Corner Road for a reported shed fire.

On Tuesday February 7th, 2023 at the regular meeting of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company FF/EMT Mike O’Brien was presented the “Ralph L. Banks Sr.” Training Award for the Year 2022.
