On Monday November 20^th, 2023 at 1333 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, Sussex County EMS and the Delaware State Police Aviation Section were alerted for a motor vehicle collision on Old Mill Road in the area of Railway Road north of Millville.  Units arrived to find a one patient that had been struck by a vehicle.  The patient was transported to Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware by Millville EMS for evaluation and treatment.  Rescue 84, Command 84-8, Traffic Control 84-13, Ambulance B-84, SCEMS Medic 105 and 109 made the response.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.  Assistant Chief Mike Melson had command of the incident.  The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.  #millvilledefire  www.millville84.com
