About Us

Millville Volunteer Fire Company is a combination fire company that serves approximately 56 square miles of first due fire district with a much larger mutual aid response area. The company runs more than 3000 fire, rescue and EMS calls a year. The company is made up of 16 career personnel and has approximately 30 active volunteer riding volunteers. The company is located just 3 miles inland from downtown Bethany Beach.

No previous fire services experience is required to join the MVFC
We offer multiple types of membership
All training is FREE and we will assist you in determining what training is required
Anyone with previous fire service experience is highly encouraged to apply
