On Monday September 11th, 2023 a crew from the Millville Volunteer Fire Company took the time to become familiar with an apartment complex under construction on Roxana Road in Millville.

On Friday September 8th, 2023, in support of Operation SEA’s the Day, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company participated in a parade to escort our visiting veterans from Bethany Beach to the Bayside Community in Roxana, Delaware.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company is looking for new members that may want to come work and live at the beach, ride fire trucks, and hang out at the station with the other members! The company offers new state of the art live-in areas that were completed this fall for our new live-in program.

On Wednesday September 6th, 2023 at 1253 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Bethany Beach VFC with a motor vehicle crash with entrapment, vehicle reported on its side at the intersection of Coastal Highway and Fred Hudson Road.

In support of the 10th Annual Operation Seas the Day Beach Week, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Wounded Veteran VIP’s onto vessels docked at the Bay Colony Marina.

On September 6th, 2023 at 1315 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a second emergency in the district for an automatic fire alarm in the 37000 block of Pettinaro Drive in the Bethany Bay development north of Millville.

On September 1st, 2023 at 0845 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics were alerted for a motor vehicle collision with a vehicle reported into a structure in the 32000 block of Docs Place in Millville.

On September 1st, 2023 at 1914 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Gumboro VFC with a reported structure fire in the 34000 Fox Hound Lane.

On August 29th, 2023 at 1244 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire company along with the mutual aid street assignment (Bethany Beach VFC) were alerted for a ruptured gas line in the 30000 block of Kona Drive in the Marlin Chase development north of Ocean View in the Cedar Neck area.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company will be holding our second FREE concert on Friday August 18th, 2023 at Evans Park, located at 32517 Dukes Drive in Millville from 6pm until 9pm.

On Friday evening on August 18th, 2023 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company held its 2nd concert in our Summer Concert Series featuring the Fitzkee Brothers Band.
