On Friday evening September 6th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company attended the 9/11 Beams of Light, Lighting Memorial Ceremony held at North Division Street and the Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland.

At the regular business meeting held on September 3rd, 2024, the members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company approved the purchase two new Horton ambulances from Fesco Emergency Sales located in Elkridge, Maryland.

On Wednesday September 4th, 2024 at 1720 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 20000 block of Salty Air Drive in the Millville by the Sea development for a reported appliance fire.

The month of August 2024 was quite busy for the members and career staff of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company. The company handled 82 fire responses and 290 EMS responses for a total of 372 responses, an average of 12 calls per day.

On Wednesday night October 4th, 2024 at 2314 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company with a motor vehicle collision with entrapment in the 31000 block of Omar Road.

On Tuesday September 3rd, 2024 at the monthly business meeting of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Fire Chief Walter Johnson presented Firefighter Gary Caunitis numerous ProBoard Certificates.

Just after clearing the 4th fire call of the day, members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company met at Fire Station #2 in Clarksville to conduct a work detail to load the hose on the new Engine-Tanker.

On Monday August 26th, 2024 at 1555 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to Atlantic Avenue in the area of the WEIS Market for a motor vehicle collision with injuries

On Thursday August 22nd, 2024 at 1550 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company with a reported structure fire in the 30000 block of Armory Road.

On Tuesday August 13th, 2024 at 1218 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the mutual aid box alarm assignment was dispatched to the 31000 block of Reading Street in the Banks Development north of Millville for a reported house fire.

Effective Monday August 12th, 2024, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company is honored to announce the promotion of FF/EMT Tyler Hickman to the position of Career EMS Captain.

On Friday August 9th, 2024 at 2137 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the intersection of Muddy Neck Road and Parker House Road for an Automatic Crash Notification.

On Friday August 9th, 2024 at 2317 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to the 35000 block of Atlantic Avenue in Millville for a motor vehicle collision with rollover.

On Wednesday August 7th, 2024 at 1105 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported fuel spill in the 50 block of Atlantic Avenue in Ocean View.
