On Friday evening on August 18th, 2023 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company held its 2nd concert in our Summer Concert Series featuring the Fitzkee Brothers Band.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company is looking for (1) Career Firefighter/EMT. MVFC is a great place to begin or continue your fire service and EMS career.

On Monday August 7th, 2023 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company held a welcome luncheon for newly appointed Career Assistant Chief John “Jackie” Wilson.

On Friday August 4th, 2023 at 0956 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company ambulance and the Sussex County EMS were dispatched to Parker House Road in the area of Plantation Park for a motor vehicle collision with a vehicle reported overturned.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company would like to officially welcome our new Career Assistant Chief John “Jackie” Wilson to the Millville VFC.

On Tuesday August 1st, 2023 at 2007 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Bethany Beach VFC for a reported house fire in the 35000 block of Coastal Highway south of the Narrows development.

On Sunday July 30th, 2023 at 1401 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Bethany Beach VFC with a reported house fire in the 400 block of Collins Street in Bethany Beach.

On Saturday July 29th, 2023, as heavy thunderstorms rolled through the area, at 1943 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company also with the mutual aid box alarm assignment was dispatched to a lightning strike and house fire in the 32000 block of Hidden Acres Drive in the Hidden Acres development in Clarksville.

On Saturday July 29th, 2023 at 2122 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company also with the mutual aid box alarm assignment was dispatched to a house fire in the 20000 block of Salty Air Drive in the Millville by the Sea development.

On Saturday July 29th, 2023 at 2223 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Delaware State Police and the Ocean View Police Department with a search for a lost child in the 30000 block of Maplewood Road in the Denton Woods development north of Millville.

On Friday July 28th, 2023 at 1539 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a medical emergency in the 22000 block of Grebe Lane in the Bay Forest Club development.

FREE CONCERT!! This is the first concert in the 2023 Summer Concert Series to benefit the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Capital Campaign.

On July 17th, 2023 at 1904 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with Bethany Beach VFC Quint 70-4 were dispatched to the 100 block of Chandler Way in the Fairway Village development in Ocean View for a reported gas leak.

On Sunday July 9, 2023 at 1414 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire at the intersection of West Avenue and Woodland Avenue in Ocean View.

In keeping with an Independence Day holiday tradition established several years ago, on Saturday July 1st, 2023 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company participated in the Bay Colony Independence Day Parade.
