On Saturday April 13^th, 2024, as part of the MVFC Officer Development Series, Division Chief Doug Brinkley from BWI Fire Rescue Department and Chief of the Lansdowne, Maryland Fire Company presented a class entitled “From the Jump Seat to the Front Seat”.  This class was intended for our members wishing to gain the knowledge of what it takes to ride the officers seat on our apparatus.  The class was held at Fire Station 1 in Millville, Delaware.  It was exciting to see so many young faces in the room soaking in the knowledge of Chief Brinkley.  Members from some our neighboring companies attended as well.  We would like to thank Chief Brinkley for traveling to Millville to share his knowledge and experiences.
