This week Engine 84-6 went to Bams Hook and Hose Inc. in Denton, Maryland to have our new Holmatro Pentheon Series Rescue Tools mounted.

On December 21st, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported brush fire on Peppers Creek Road in the area of Dogwood Acres.

On December 21st, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported smoke odor inside of a residence in the 34000 block of Pocahontas Road in the Blackwater Village Development.

On December 20th, 2022 during our monthly meeting, the Millville VFC finalized some pending election activities.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company has received a message directly from Santa’s winter headquarters at the North Pole. Santa has confirmed his Millville Fire District preplan tour dates and times. There will be two routes simultaneously on Monday December 19th and Wednesday December 21st, and one route on Friday December 16th and one route on Thursday December 22nd. Each route will start at 5pm each evening and follow the listed routes below. Santa stated “I am looking forward to seeing all the good girls and boys during my visit”.

Once a year the MVFC has its fire pumps tested to ensure reliability during your emergency.

Fire Chief Elect Walter Johnson has announced his appointed line and staff officers for 2023.
