On November 28th, 2022 the nation is honoring first responders with a National First Responders Day. Locally we would like to thank Lori Martin from Lori Martin Group and R.J. Kauffman from Keller Williams for sponsoring a food truck from Kristina’s Kitchen to serve breakfast for all of the local area first responders.

On Wednesday October 26th, 2022 at 1330 hours the Annual Fire Prevention Awards Ceremony was held at the Lord Baltimore Elementary School in Ocean View, Delaware.

On Sunday October 16th, 2022 from 1100-1500 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company will host an Open House at Station 1 located at 35554 Atlantic Avenue in Millville.

National Fire Prevention Week is fast approaching! This year Fire Prevention Week is October 9th-15th, 2022. This year’s theme is “Fire Won’t Wait, Plan Your Escape” emphasizing the importance of home escape plans.

On September 16, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Capital Campaign Committee had a preliminary meeting for the organization of our first inaugural Car Show in the spring of 2023.

On September 14th, 2022 at 0939 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported cardiac arrest at Evans Park on Dukes Drive in Millville.

On September 4, 2022 at 0843 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported house fire in the 100 block of Ewing Road in the Bayside Hamlet development off of Cedar Neck Road.

We have some important updates about the Millville Volunteer Fire Company special Capital Campaign initiative occurring in the Millville – Ocean View area. This campaign is not only exciting, but also essential. For over 86 years, your grass roots support has provided your fire, rescue and EMS service!

Our very own DRAKE BURD will preform at Evans Park in Millville on August 19th, 2022 from 6pm - 9pm. Drake is a very talented musician and singer as well as a very dedicated member and firefighter with the Millville Volunteer Fire Company. It is a our privilege to have Drake preform for our last concert of the year!

On Wednesday August 17th, 2022 a representative from the Savannah’s Landing development HOA presented the Millville Volunteer Fire Company with a check for $100.00 to assist the company with its Capital Campaign fundraising efforts.

On Saturday August 13th, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company will host a “Sip & Scoop” Ice Cream Festival and Craft Show.

On Saturday July 30th, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company accepted delivery of our building renovation picture project.
