On Friday morning September 13th, 2024 at 0726 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the intersection of Atlantic & Woodland Avenues in Ocean View for a reported motor vehicle collision.

On Friday September 13th, 2024 at 1908 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of Atlantic Avenue in Ocean View for an automatic fire alarm.

On Wednesday September 11th, 2024 at 1220 hours, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company EMS along with the Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to the Bear Trap Dunes Clubhouse in Ocean View for a medical emergency.

On Tuesday evening September 10th, 2024 at 1938 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the mutual aid box alarm assignment were dispatched to the 35000 block of Cypress Point Trail in the Coventry Development for a reported house full of smoke.

After clearing a previous call for service, on Tuesday evening September 10th, 2024 at 2101 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics and the Delaware State Police Aviation division were dispatched to the intersection of Shawnee Drive and Trails End in the Blackwater Village Development for a reported motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.

On Monday September 9th, 2024 at 1656 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Emergency Medical Services and the Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to the 32000 block of Roxana Road for a traumatic injury.

On Saturday September 7, 2024 at 1027 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 36000 block of Calm Water Drive in the Millville by the Sea development for a reported automatic fire alarm.

On Friday evening September 6th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company attended the 9/11 Beams of Light, Lighting Memorial Ceremony held at North Division Street and the Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland.

At the regular business meeting held on September 3rd, 2024, the members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company approved the purchase two new Horton ambulances from Fesco Emergency Sales located in Elkridge, Maryland.

On Wednesday September 4th, 2024 at 1720 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 20000 block of Salty Air Drive in the Millville by the Sea development for a reported appliance fire.

The month of August 2024 was quite busy for the members and career staff of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company. The company handled 82 fire responses and 290 EMS responses for a total of 372 responses, an average of 12 calls per day.

On Wednesday night October 4th, 2024 at 2314 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company with a motor vehicle collision with entrapment in the 31000 block of Omar Road.

On Tuesday September 3rd, 2024 at the monthly business meeting of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Fire Chief Walter Johnson presented Firefighter Gary Caunitis numerous ProBoard Certificates.
