The Millville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. would like to congratulate all the winners of the 2024 Fire & Ice Chili Cook-Off.

On Friday afternoon and evening January 26th, 2024, members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, in support of the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce Fire and Ice Festival, attended an opening night event at the Millville Boardwalk.

Earlier this week the Millville Volunteer Fire Company conducted a company drill to review our crosslay hose loads.

On Saturday evening January 13th, 2024 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company held its 71st Annual “Ladies Night” Banquet. The banquet was held at the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company.

On Thursday morning January 11, 2024 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance Service received a generous donation for the Women’s Civic Club of Bethany Beach in the amount of $1,000.00 dollars.

On Wednesday night January 10th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company JUNIOR FIRE COMPANY attended training on “Rescue 84”. The training was led by Lieutenant Max Stong and Past A/C Craig Temple.

On Saturday January 6th, 2024 from 7am-3pm, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company will host our annual Outdoorsman Marketplace at Fire Station #1 located at 35554 Atlantic Avenue in Millvillle, Delaware.

On Wednesday evening January 3, 2024 at 1950 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, along with the mutual aid box alarm assignment, were dispatched to assist the Bethany Beach VFC with a reported house fire in the 700 block of Radial Drive in the Town of Bethany Beach.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company has waited until this most appropriate day to officially announce the arrival of our new “Tanker 84”.

Roy E. Rickards, age 76, of Frankford, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

On Wednesday December 20th, 2023 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company made a visit to the residence of Past Fire Chief Roger Hitchens to present him with several very important awards.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company has received an important message directly from Santa’s winter headquarters at the North Pole. Santa has confirmed his Millville Fire District “Santa on a Fire Truck” tour dates and times.
