On Monday October 7^th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company visited the Rise and Shine Learning Center on Beaver Dam Road south of Millville to conduct fire prevention activities.  Sparky the Fire Dog was in attendance and was a big hit with all the children.  A tour of Rescue 84 was given as well as a “Friendly Firefighter” demonstration to familiarize the children what a firefighter looks and sounds like while wearing self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).  Fire Prevention materials were provided to each child to take home.  We would like to thank the Rise and Shine Learning Center for giving us the opportunity to present these valuable fire prevention lessons, we had a great time!
