MVFC Auxiliary supports MVFC Operations

July 17, 2024

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company would like to recognize the MVFC Auxiliary for their generous donation of $12,000.00 to benefit the operations of the MVFC.  The donation included a variety of DeWalt battery operated tools, a “Seek Attack Pro” thermal imaging camera, and funds to complete the lettering and lighting project on our new Polaris ATV.

The DeWalt battery operated tools were purchased earlier this year and have been placed on our front run fire apparatus for use at emergency scenes throughout the Millville fire district and surrounding communities.  The battery-operated tools will allow us to use these tools in remote areas without the distance limitations of 110V electric power cords.  In addition, these battery tools allow for quick deployment when time is a factor.  These tools were purchased from Baker's Hardware in Millsboro, Delaware.

The” Seek Attack Pro” thermal imaging camera has been deployed on our first run engine at Station 1, allowing the officer to have the latest thermal imaging technology available to them for fireground decision-making and search operations.

Again, we would like to thank the MVFC Auxiliary for there continued support of our operations, your help is greatly appreciated.
