On June 8th at 1837hrs the Millville Vol. Fire Company was dispatched to an MVC at the intersection of Jones Rd. and Burbage Rd., which is the district line between the Frankford (76) and Millville (84) fire districts. The Frankford VFC was performing a controlled burn near the crash site and responded with their brush truck. Frankfords first arriving officer found a two vehicle MVC in Frankfords district with multiple patients entrapped, ejected and one of the vehicles on fire. The scene was declared an MCI and the Frankford VFC was dispatched to the scene along with the Roxana VFC (90) for a Rescue Company Assist. Several BLS and ALS units were dispatched automatically as well as Delaware and Maryland Aviation. Units on the scene worked aggressively to control the scene, provide fire attack, extrication and patient care. Units responding included; Fire Units from 84, 76, 90, EMS units from 84(3), 76(1), 73(2), 88(1), 79(1), Ocean City (PM4), DSP Trooper 2, MSP Trooper 4, SCEMS EMS15, 16, 17, EMS 100, M105, M103, M108. Other Companies provided Cover up assignments during the operations.
