On Tuesday November 14 at 3:38p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at Atlantic Avenue and West Avenue. The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to a two-vehicle accident on West Avenue. A Chevrolet Trail Blazer traveling north on West Avenue towards Atlantic Avenue was struck by an Isuzu pickup backing out of a driveway. Ambulance personnel provided initial treatment at the scene to the driver of the Trail Blazer, who was then transported to Beebe Hospital in Lewes, Delaware. The operator of the Isuzu pickup refused treatment. Fire Chief Graig Temple turned the accident scene over to the Ocean View Police for investigation.
