On Monday September 10 at 12:50 p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the Millville Town Center parking lot.  The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to find a tractor-trailer in a retention pond at the shopping center.  While the driver was in Quizno’s getting lunch, the rig rolled from its parking area coming to rest in the retention pond.  There were no other vehicles involved and no injuries.  Chief Doug Scott turned the accident scene over to the police for investigation.
