Motor Vehicle Accident - 35000 Block of Beaver Dam Road

On Saturday June 28 at 11:08 p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 35000 block of Beaver Dam Road. Equipment began responding to the alarm within one minute of the dispatch. The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to a single-vehicle accident. The driver of a Pontiac G6 ran off the road and into a ditch at the intersection of Beaver Dam and Double Bridges Road. The driver and passenger were placed in the Millville Volunteer Fire Company ambulance for initial treatment and then transported to Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. Rescue Captain Richie Walls turned the accident scene over to the Delaware State Police for investigation. “DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY”
