October 29, 2008

On Wednesday October 29 at 10:43 p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company and Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 37000 block of Club House Road. Equipment began responding to the alarm within one minute of the dispatch. The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to a single-vehicle accident. The driver was placed in the Millville Volunteer Fire Company ambulance for initial treatment. A landing zone was established at the Millville Volunteer Fire Company for the Delaware State Police medical helicopter Trooper 2. The driver was transferred to Trooper 2 and then transported to the Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.
