Landing Zone for Choking Infant - Millville Volunteer Fire Company Station 1

On Saturday, May 23 at 5:04 p.m., Millville Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance C84 was dispatched along with the Sussex County Paramedics to the Millville Medical Center for an infant experiencing choking. The attending medical personnel determined the infant should be flown to the A.I. Dupont Institute for more specialized care and treatment. At 5:44 p.m. the Millville Volunteer Fire Company received the dispatch to establish a landing zone at Station 1 on Atlantic Avenue for the Christiana Care medical helicopter Life Net 2. “DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY”
