On Tuesday March 2 at 2:51 a.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 31000 block of Railway Road. The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to a single-vehicle accident. As the driver of a Dodge Charger was going north on Railway Road, he lost control of the vehicle running off the left side of the road. The driver was conscious and out of the vehicle when emergency crews arrived and was placed in the Millville Volunteer Fire Company ambulance for initial treatment. He was transported to Beebe Medical Center in Lewes for additional treatment. Deputy Chief Doug Scott turned the accident scene over to the Delaware State Police for investigation. “DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY”
