MVFCo Receives Town of Oean View's Emergency Services Enhancement Grant - Millville Volunteer Fire Company

On April 9, 2013, the Ocean View Town Council voted to award a grant from the Town's Emergency Services Enhancement Funding Program to the Millville Volunteer Fire Company. Ocean View Mayor Gordon Wood, who is a Social Member with the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, presented a check on behalf of the Ocean View Town Council for $58,700 at the May 7 fire company meeting to Deputy Chief Richie Walls and Assistant Chief Cody Lockwood. The money will be used to support the Scuba Diving Team, AED’s for our Emergency Medical Service units, training, a low pressure air bag for rescue lifting, and a Forcible Entry Door training prop. Once again, the members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company wish to express their sincere gratitude to the Ocean View Town Council and Mayor Gordon Wood for their generous support with the Emergency Services Enhancement Funding Program. “DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY”
