2-Vehicle Accident

August 18, 2014

On Monday, August 18 at 0944, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Burbage and Roxana Roads.  The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived on scene at 0949 to a two-vehicle accident involving a Honda Accord and Dodge Caravan.  No special extrication was necessary for the occupants of either vehicle.  The driver of the Dodge Caravan received initial care at the scene by medical personnel and was then transported to Beebe Medical Center in Lewes with non-life threatening injuries for additional evaluation.  The operator of the Honda Accord and the passengers in each vehicle refused treatment.  Deputy Chief Bob Magee declared the situation under control at 10:01 a.m. and turned the scene over to the Ocean View Police for investigation.
