On Friday April 10 at 9:01 a.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of Vines Creek Road and Atlantic Avenue.  The firefighters and ambulance personnel arrived to a single vehicle accident in which the operator of a Chevrolet 2500 van was traveling east on Vines Creek Road, ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree.  The major impact was more toward the passenger side of the vehicle, which was fortunate for the operator.  Millville's EMT-B's checked the driver, who refused to be transported to a medical facility.  Fire Captain Ty Webb declared the situation under control at 9:16 a.m. and turned the accident scene over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
