At 2059 hours on February 11th, 2016 the Millivlle VFC along with one engine from the Roxana VFC were dispatched to a gas leak in the 36000 block of W. Pebble Drive in the Forest Landing Development.  Units arrived to find an active leak from an underground propane tank at the rear of a 2 story townhouse.  Engine 84-2 layed a 3" supply line from the hydrant at the corner of Fairway Drive and W. Pebble Drive and stopped short of the townhouse.  The crew then deployed a handline from the rear of the engine for vapor suppression.  The residents in the immediate are were evacuated as a precaution.  Engine 84-6 picked up Engine 84-2's supply line to provide a continuous water supply.  Roxana Engine 90-5 was assigned RIT.  The leak was controlled in approximately 15 minutes.
