On Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 0747 hours, the Millville and Roxana Volunteer Fire Companies, Sussex County Paramedics, and Delaware State Police helicopter Trooper-2 responded to a three vehicle accident at the intersection of Powell Farm & Roxana Roads with entrapment with a head-on collision.  Units responding to the scene from Millville were ambulances B & C-84, Rescue 84, 84 Command, 84-2, & Command 84.  Units responding from Roxana were 90 Command, 90-1, ambulance B-90,  & Rescue 90.  Roxana Deputy Chief Sean Magee assumed Command of the situation.  The firefighters worked to free the occupant in each vehicle.  At 0812 ambulance B-90 transported one patient to Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, with ambulance C-84 following at 0813 hours.  Delaware State Police helicopter Trooper-2 departed the scene at 0832 to transport the last patient to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center.  Trooper 2 arrived at the Trauma Center at 0938.  Deputy Chief Magee declared the scene under control at 0832 hours prior to Trooper 2 leaving the scene with their patient.
