On 30 June 2017, at 1301 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automobile collision in the 100 block of Atlantic Avenue. Rescue 84, Medic 84, Command Unit, manned by Ty Webb, and Fire-Police responded.
This 2-vehicle collision generated a traffic backup on Atlantic Avenue, as well as secondary roads due to the vehicles becoming disabled subsequent to impact.
Medic 84 transported one patient to a local medical facility for treatment, a second patient refused treatment at the scene.
Sergeant Sid Ballentine of the Ocean View Police Department was investigating this collision. Charges are pending his investigation.
