Millville VFC assists BBVFC with Gas Leak

On 19 July 2017, at 1818 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted and dispatched to assist Bethany Beach VFC for a gas leak in the 300 block of Evergreen Court. 

MVFC assisted with an Engine Company, Traffic Control Unit and new Command Vehicle. The Engine was manned by Ralph Hitchens, Past Chief Doug Scott, and Chief R.C. Evans. Traffic Control was manned by Harry Warburton and Captain Bill Bowden Sr. BBVFC personnel consisted of Chief Martin, John Watson, Billy Ireland, Dillon Baker, Chad Hickman, Andy Johnson, and several others not captured in a photograph since they inside the dwelling. 

This fire event was Co-Commanded by Justin Norman and Nick McLoughlin. 

Note: I felt so sorry for these men and women wearing all that turnout gear, it was HOT!!
