Fire Alarm 37000 Mississippi Drive
August 14, 2017
On Monday, 14 August 2017, at 1551 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted and subsequently dispatched to the 37000 block of Mississippi Drive in the Plantation Park subdivision for a fire alarm in a dwelling.
MVFC response comprised of four pieces of apparatus, 84 Truck, 84-6 Engine, Ambulance A-84 and Utility 84.
Asst. Chief Richie Walls commanded this fire event. Thankfully I can report the fire was limited to a toaster.
MVFC also had a small group of Fire Police in place if the need had arisen to divert traffic.
