On Monday, 8 January 2018, at 1303 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched by Sussex EOC to an alarm in the 38000 block of North Mill Lane. EMS Fire Chief John Watson discovered running water from a residential unit.
Millville VFC responded with 2 pumper engines. Wally Evans and John Stephens operated these pieces of fire apparatus. Shawn Evans manned the Brush Unit. Lt. Greg Hocker also commanded this fire event.
MVFC Fire-Police diverted vehicular traffic away from the flood scene.
