Members from Millville Volunteer Fire Company, along with members from Bethany Beach, Roxanna, Frankforda nd the Selbyville Volunteer Fire Companies did a recent surprise ride by the help celebrate the 95th birthday of Ms. Mabel Bender, a Lifetime member of the MVFC Ladies Auxiliary. Pictured with Ms. Bender are MVFC Ladies Auxiliary President Gail Quillen and MVFC Lifetime member Cindy Blades. Over the last month, the local fire companies have been providing ride bys for children who have been unable to have tradional birthday parties with family and friends due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
