Josh Freeman Award Winners

Chief Guy Rickards, Deputy Chief Douglas Scott, fire-line officers, and President Greg Hocker are delighted to publicize that volunteer Assistant Fire Chief Walt Johnson and career Firefighter/EMT Tyler Hickman today accepted the Valor Award from the Josh Freeman Foundation.
Assistant Chief Walt Johnson was nominated by Chief Rickards for his outstanding performance over the past few years in both high-call responses and in recruiting and retaining many experienced members.
Firefighter/EMT Tyler Hickman was nominated by EMS Chief John Watson for the frequent Phoenix Awards he has garnered over the years and for volunteering to take on supplementary firehouse responsibilities when requested.
I understand this is a very prestigious award to attain. Kudos to Tyler and Walt!
