On October 31st, 2021 at 0012 hours the MVFC was alerted to a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries with the vehicle reported on fire.  Upon arrived crews found a vehicle had struck a power pole completely shearing it off with the fire extinguished.  One patient was transported to a medical facility by Millville Ambulance and Sussex County Paramedics.  DELDOT was requesting to assist our fire police with traffic control.  Rescue 84 and Engine 84-4 made the response.  Chief Guy Rickards has command of the incident.
