On October 10^th, 2021 at 0035 hours the Millville VFC along with the Rescue Street alarm assignment, Sussex County Paramedics and Delaware State Police Aviation were alerted for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment at the intersection of Parker House Road & Beaver Dam Road south of Ocean View.  Upon arrival units found a single vehicle accident with one patient that had self-extricated.  The response was then downgraded to Millville VFC units and Medic 105.  The patient was transported to a local medical facility for treatment for non-life threatening injuries. Ocean View Police Department was on the scene and assisted the Delaware State Police with the accident investigation.  Millville Fire Police and Utility 84-13 assisted with traffic control during the incident.  Deputy Chief Scott had command of the incident.  Units cleared in just over 30 minutes.
