On December 4^th, 2021 at 1853 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the street alarm assignment (Roxana VFC) were dispatched to a reported gas leak in the 20000 block of Anchor Lane in the Estuary Development.  Upon arrival units found an active gas leak with high gas reading levels accumulating in close proximity to several homes.  The immediate area was evacuated, a precautionary handline was deployed and a water supply established.  The responsible gas company was notified and responded to the scene to secure and repair the leak.  Units operated for approximately one hour.  There were no injuries.
