On February 6th, 2022 at 1155 hours, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alert to assist the Bethany Beach VFC with a gas leak at 98 Garfield Parkway in downtown Bethany Beach. First arriving units found and active gas leak. Units evacuated the immediate area and utilized fog streams to dissipate the gas vapors until the leak could be secured. Engine 84-2 operated at the scene. Engine 84-6 was re-located to Station 70 for coverage. Units operated for over one hour.
