On April 26^th, 2022 at 1758 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the mutual aid box assignment were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 34000 block of Preserve Lane in The Preserve at Irons Landing Development.  Upon the arrival of Fire Chief Guy Rickards a fire was located in a dryer with extension to the outside wall and crawl space of the house.  The fire was quickly extinguished by the crews of Engine 84-2 & Engine 84-6.  Tower 70 conducted the primary search (negative), used positive pressure ventilation to clear the house of smoke and assisted with overhaul.  Units operated for just over 30 minutes.
