On Sunday February 26^th, 2023 at 1605 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Roxana VFC (mutual aid street alarm assignment) was dispatched to a chimney fire in the 36000 block of Wild Wood Avenue south of Ocean View.  Units arrived to find smoke showing from the chimney only.  Upon investigation it was determined that the fire was contained in the chimney with no extension to the structure itself.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.  Engine 84-2, Engine 84-4, Tower 90, Quint 90-3, Rescue 84, Tanker 84, Tanker 90, A-84 and D-84 make the response.  Fire Chief Walter Johnson had command of the incident.
