On March 7^th, 2023 the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of Cornwall Road in the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club for a reported house fire.  Upon the arrival of the first units a working fire was declared and units from the Lewes Fire Department and the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company were requested to assist.  At 1022 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to transfer a piece of apparatus to the quarters of the Bethany Beach VFC to provide district coverage.  Rescue 84 made the response with 5 personnel.  Within 15 minutes of arriving in Bethany Beach, Rescue 84 was requested to the scene.  Millville firefighters were assigned to assist with overhaul on both floors of the structure.  Rescue 84 returned to the Millville local within two hours.
