On March 8, 2023 at 1011 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with mutual aid street assignment (Bethany Beach VFC) was alerted for an odor of gas inside the residence in the 100 block of Chandler Way in the Fairway Village development in Ocean View.  After investigation with our gas meters, no gas detected and the situation was placed under control.  Deputy Chief Paul Sterling had command of the incident.  Units that made the response were Engine 84-2, Engine 84-4, Quint 70 and Rescue 84.  Units return to service within 30 minutes.  #millvilledefire
