On July 11^th, 2023 the Delaware Department of Transportation is planning to implement an All-Way Stop at the intersection of Peppers Corner Road & Powell Farm Road and Roxana Road.  In addition, further south on Roxana Road at the Gum Road intersection (Roxana VFC fire district) another All-Way Stop will be implemented.  The Millville Volunteer Fire Company would like the residents and visitors of our local area to be aware of these changes and use an abundance of caution at both intersections.   

This is the Press Release from DELDOT: **TRAFFIC ALERT** Sussex County - All-Way Stop Implementation at Peppers Corner Road & Powell Farm Road at Roxana Road.  The Delaware Department of Transportation will be converting the two-way stop control at the intersection of Peppers Corner Road & Powell Farm Road and Roxana Road to an All-Way Stop control with new signs and pavement markings.  The work will take place on Tuesday, July 11th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (weather permitting).  Flaggers will be on-site to direct motorists at the intersection.  Motorists are advised to use caution for workers and reduce their speed in work zones.  For more information, visit DelDOT's website at www.deldot.gov or tune to WTMC-AM 1380.  #millvilledefire
