On Sunday July 30^th, 2023 at 1401 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Bethany Beach VFC with a reported house fire in the 400 block of Collins Street in Bethany Beach.  Units arrived to find smoke showing from the 1^st floor of a single family dwelling.  The fire was contained to the laundry room on the 1^st floor.  Searches were negative.  Millville units assisted with searches, ventilation and overhaul.  Engine 84-2, Ambulance 84 and Command 84-8 made the response.  Units operated for approximately 45 minutes before returning to service.  #millvilledefire
