On Wednesday October 4^th, 2023 at 1142 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the mutual aid street alarm assignment was dispatched to the 36000 block of Lisa Avenue north of Millville for a reported shed on fire.  Units arrived to find a 10 x 10 shed with smoke showing.  The fire was brought under control in short order and the assignment was reduced to Millville VFC units only.  Engine 84-2, Tanker 84 and Command 84-8 made the response.  The street alarm mutual aid was provided by the Bethany Beach VFC.  Assistant Chief Mike Melson had command of the incident.  The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.  #millvilledefire
