On Tuesday October 10^th, 2023 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company attended one of several nights of refresher training and annual SCBA recertification. Firefighters participated in evolutions to simulate MAYDAY situations, hose line orientation, crew communications, entanglement, low profile, downed firefighter and RIT bag usage.  Firefighters were asked to use the 800MHz radio system to simulate the needed communications with the command officer as they worked through the evolutions.  We would like to thank the Bethany Beach VFC and Fire Chief Tyler Hickman for allowing us to use their training prop at the Bethany Beach fire station for this valuable training.  The Delaware State Fire School provided Tom Moore, a seasoned and knowledgeable fire instructor, to proctor the training and recertification process.  #millvilledefire
