On Monday evening November 20^th, 2023 at 1931 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, along with the Sussex County Paramedics, were alerted to a motor vehicle collision involving a deer in the 32000 block of Vines Creek Road.  Units arrived to find a single vehicle with significant front end damage with one occupant requiring medical evaluation.  Rescue 84, Engine 84-6, Engine 84-2, Command 84-8, Traffic Control 84-13, Ambulance B-84, Ambulance D-84 and Sussex County Medic 103 made the response.  Lieutenant Jay Droney had command of the incident.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.  The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
